You can find the book review for the First book in the series "Letting Go" on my blog, by clicking here.

I completely fell in the with the first book in the Mitchel Series, as you can see from my book review in the link above. Folding hearts for me was not as good, I love the authors style of writing and her perfect balance of steamy love scenes, to their passion for each other but I feel like these characters fell in love way to quickly. I also think there wasn't enough drama, not that I love drama but their whole story was happy go lucky, nothing really happened to them to make them question being together, or question if being together is the right thing to do. There was nothing that made them mad, there wasn't enough passion I think. The story itself was beautiful and both were characters that you grow to love and realize how perfect they are for each other. How perfect their imperfections are. It was a good book and I totally enjoyed reading it but just wished there was a little something more to just put it over the edge as one of my favorites.

The book was only 2.99 and it's a great light read with a few love scenes. You can get this book on amazon by clicking the link here.

Spoiler Alert if you have not read "Letting Go".

If you have read "Letting Go" then you know that Tyler was pretty much left with nothing because his girlfriend left him for his cousin while he was in a coma. He was left with no license no girlfriend and pretty much fell into a funk. While his cousin and his ex girlfriend were happier then ever, he became close with his cousins cousin Miranda, I know its weird, they're not related though, and Tyler was there for an extremely important time in Miranda's life.

Overall both these books were a great read, I did love "Letting Go" way better then "Folding Hearts" because as I was going reading the book I remembered being shocked, and angry and just feeling more passion, but they're both a great enjoyable read, especially for the prices. So go and check them out guys!

So right now I am writing to you, as my daughter is taking a nap on an empty tummy. I go through this struggle everyday with her trying to get her to eat and it is sooo frustrating because I always feel like she isn't getting the nutrition that she needs. It started after she turned around 18 months and she is about to be two in December. I talked to a nutritionist and did some research online and talked to my Doctor and although I have been given a few tips, I haven't really been told on HOW TO GET HER TO EAT!

Here are a few tips that I did receive from doing some research, and asking around!

Tip Number One: V8 Juice

Buy V8 Juice! Instead of drinking the same old apple Juice or grape Juice, give them V8 juice. I buy the V8 Fusion juice which is sweet because of the fruits in it but still contains veggies in it as well!

Tip Number Two: Smoothies

My daughter likes drinking more than she does eating, she loves her juices, her milk, and water. Make a Smoothie for them and put it in a cup with a straw. In your smoothie, you have free range to put veggies like spinach, kale, cucumbers etc. into it. For my daughters smoothie I usually put half a banana, a few strawberries, spinach, and V8 Juice for the extra veggie intake and for sweetness, as well as ice if my strawberries aren't frozen! This is a good tip for us moms who are on the go or dont like veggies, you dont taste the veggies at all, it may not come out a pretty color, but that just makes it more fun for the kids to drink right?

Tip Number Three: Snack Tray

My husband started putting Cereal on a tray and leaving it for her on the living room table when she wouldn't eat, when I would check on the tray an hour later, the cereal would be gone. I recently just read that this is a great way for them to eat their food and my husband proved this theory to be correct. So I just take the tray top that comes from her high chair off and place it on the table with Healthy Cereals, snacks, or cheeses, leave it there for them and see if they'll munch on it while they're playing. If you don't have a tray, try a muffin pan and put different snacks in each muffin hole or an ice tray. I hear this helps.

Tip Number Four: Let em' Dip em'

When my daughter was a little younger and she was eating french fries, she saw me and my husband dipping them in Ketchup and wanted to try it so bad. We let her dip her fry in it and she sucked all the ketchup from the fry and then redipped it not eating the french Fry at all............Now that she's a little older when I let her dip it, she eats it, so try using different dips, like cottage cheese or guacamole.

Tip Number Five: Let them eat themselves

I know this can be hard because of the mess, but if it makes them want to eat, why not? Nothing a broom or a vacuum cant handle. This works for me, SOMETIMES, other times she just plays with her food and I have to take it away, but other times she goes right in and uses her little spoon and gets more food everywhere else than her mouth, but still, shes eating, and this is what matters the most.

I am no Doctor, nutritionist, or expert on childrens eating habbits. Im just a mom, who has the same battles as you guys when trying to make their little ones eat, and just wanted to share some simple ways to give you piece of mind when you see them eating more. They may not always work, they may work for some little ones and not for others, but these are my tips for you guys, and please let me know some new tips down below that can help me! I love reading and hearing about new ways to help picky eaters!
When I first created this blog, I created it with a friend of mine so we can take turns writing on here about makeup and beauty products we love or hate. My friend started working full time so her time is now limited as to when she can write on here so we decided that I take over, maybe she will do her own blogs, and if so, I will link it when ever she does.

Since the blog is only mine now, I wanted to make it more personal like I have told you guys before. I want to write more about my life as a mom and a wife and just more about me and the things I love.

So this post is not about makeup. Today I am here to talk about the book I have just finsihed reading, and LOVED. Its called "Letting Go" by Jennifer Foor. I loved this book so much that I was done reading it within the first day, that's usually how most my books go though......

Anyways its so romantic, its aggrivating, it makes you love each character in the book and she puts in lots of steamy details when it comes to the "love scenes".

Overall its about a girl who dated the same boy at a very young age, now their older and both in college and the boy gets in to a horrible accident and is in a coma. The girl blames herself for the accident and falls in to a depression and visits him everyday, her friends and people around their small southern town blame her for the accident as well only making her feel worse. The boys cousin comes in to town and helps her move forward in life. Helps her see that she deserves to be happy and not blame herself for his accident. I dont want to give out to many details about the book and give away anything good. It was only like 3.99 on my kindle. To learn more about this book, check out this link here.

I loved the details of this author and thought she did wonderfully in the book. Things moved so fast paced that I kept thinking that I was almost done with the book and when I checked I saw I still had a lot left to read.

Here's what the cover looks like:

She has another book called Folding hearts, which is apart of this series and I believe she is coming out with a third book called Raging love. I cant wait to read both of these books and let you know what I think of them as well.

I hope everybody is having an awesome October! I live here in South Florida and the weather is always hot but lately its starting to get a little chilly so I am bringing out the boots before it gets scorching hot again!

Today I wanted to do a quick review on a product I just purchased. I actually just dyed my hair ombre, but in order to get it lighter I had to bleach my hair because I had died it black a few months back and the color wouldn't lift easily. We all know how harsh bleach is, so I wanted to pick up a few products to help my hair be soft and not get damaged. I picked up a hair conditioning treatment but have only used it once, so cant do an honest review on the product yet, but I will soon!

So I picked up a Tresamme shampoo and conditioner in Walgreens and they had a sale for one free Tresamme product and I chose this leave in condition spray split end remedy. The bottle claims that you will notice a difference after three times of using it. Usually when the company says things like that, it probably isn't true, (at least from my experience) but I have only used this product 4 times and can see a HUGE difference. My hair is so much softer and looking at my hair I can tell that I love this product because of how it leaves my hair feeling. Usually when I blow out my hair the ends are still rough because of my split ends especially in the front but it hasn't happened that last time I blew it out!

Also the smell is sooooo delicious! It smells amazing and it leaves your hair smelling great as well. For those of you who dont want to chopp of your hair because of your split ends, try this product, even though I got it for free, I think its originally only about 4 or 5 bucks! So be sure to check this baby out!
DIY Projects?Amanda:

Hey guys! I know that this blog is dedicated to makeup, hair and fashion and things like that. But another thing that I personally love to do is read and some DIY projects. I am currently in the process of revamping my daughters room and making it in to less of a baby room and more of a toddler/little girl room. Shes about to be two and I think she is ready for it! I was thinking of doing Princess theme but I think I decided on a Ballerina theme. So I will be getting a lot of old furniture from thrift stores and revamping it up and such. Im not sure how many moms out there are interested but if so comment below.

I also love reading. I read about a book every two or three days. I love romantic books but am open to all books like the hunger games. I have read over 40 books just this summer and am always on the hunt for new and exciting books. Especially the bargain books on kindle!

So let me know. I know Alexa enjoys reading as well! I don't know if she will post anything else besides beauty related things, but unless someone suggests it isn't a good idea, I will probably move forward with the idea!

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read my blogs!
I love the smell of fall, the warm and comfy clothes, the cold weather and the snuggly feeling you get being at home wrapped in blankets with your loved ones watching a movie! Plus all the holidays that are coming up! I love it.
So I figure I go ahead and let you know my favorite fall product.

Ok so for blush I always love Coral colors for my skin tone but when I mix this orange color and this light pale pink Color on the BH Cosmetics Blush Palette, it turns into the prettiest color that just looks so pretty on the cheeks!

I love this palette, I love the fall colors on this palette, I love how creamy and smooth and soft and PIGMENTED these colors are. This palette = AMAZING. Go, leave your house now and buy this palette!
Ok next favorite fall color is this Rasberry Pie Lip Butter from Revlon. To me, this color screams fall and I love the smoothness because it is a butter.

So most of my brushes are older or simply falling apart and I really wanted to purchase a nice set of brushes but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Perhaps for Christmas I can ask for a great set from Sigma but for right now I chose to get 15 piece Wild Purple Make up Brush set from BH Cosmetics.
I have used them for about a week now and honestly am truly impressed. The brushes are so soft which is perfect for my sensitive skin and they don't shed at all which is another plus in my opinion. I really hate it when brushes shed. This set also comes in a faux leather case which is great for traveling and make up gigs.
The next product I will be ordering from BH Cosmetics is their Stippling brush so make sure you look out for that review!
Today I just wanted to do another quick review on a palette I bought about a month ago.

It's BH Cosmetics 10 Color Professional Blush Palette, which I bought from Amazon for about 11 dollars. I just want to say if you never bought anything from amazon or never bought makeup from amazon and is scared of how the packaging may be, I just want to say that this product was very carefully packaged and bubble wrapped and wrapped in tons of tissue paper and came in perfect condition. I can say that just about all the things I have bought through Amazon has come in perfect condition. This is just my personal experience.

This palette comes with 10 different blush shades and I personally use about two of them for contouring sometimes. It comes with different shades of pink like a hot pink and a very light pink all the way to a gorgeous coral color and a beautiful orange color. Not only was this palette extremely affordable but the colors are pretty pigmented and I love the choices they provide you with.

This palette is especially good for someone who likes to do makeup on other people just because you have so many colors that would look good on so many different types of skin tones and this would be a perfect affordable palette for someone doing a bridal party or someone who does this as a profession.

So if your looking to add to your collection of Blushes, please make sure to defiantly check this bad boy out!
I know school is starting soon and people may be on a budget, or maybe your not in school and just can't afford the big name brand makeup products. I decided to create a list of make up products for under 3 dollars. These products are my recommendations because these are what works for me. Everyone's skin type is different and so are people's taste but I do love these products and think they're def. worth trying! Ill go in order from my favorite down.

Number one is the E.L.F. Mineral Face Primer. This product is AMAZING to me. I feel like I literally have a shield on my face from the make up! I got mines from Target for 3$. You can also order this product by clicking here. Its a clear consistency and feels extremely soft almost silky like, not creamy.

My next fave for under three dollars is yes, another E.L.F product buts its my last one, I promise. I have been using the E.L.F Golden Bronzer and have been loving this products because of the beautiful glow that it gives me. I have been loving it especially for summer. Its a great product but it does have shimmer in it but I like shimmer, for those of you who don't, this may not be the product for you. Also three dollars online or at target.

My next products is NYC's Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder. I got it from target for right under three dollars, I am not sure of the exact price but saw online that at CVS it's going for about $2.23. This is a matte product for those of you who do not like shimmer.

My next favorite product is from Sally's! I am not sure if you guys have ever been to Sally's, but at the cash register they have a few items that are dirt cheap! I love getting their Lip liners from there because of the price and how much product your getting and their great color selection! I also have picked up, two baked eye shadows that are so pigmented and are such beautiful colors for 99 cents. I also got an eyebrow powder kit to fill in my brows for a dollar! They also have lip glosses and single regular eye shadows and eye shadows quads, all for under 3 dollars and most for about 1 dollar. These products are really small but for a dollar you seriously cant go wrong, the colors are beautiful and I know from their baked eyeshadow's they they are extremely pigmented. They also carry some small bronzer's as well =].

This is a swatch of the Golden Baked color above. You cant see the true
color in the two pictures above but I love it and love the pigmentation.

I hope you guys found this post useful. I, personally like to buy affordable makeup, also known as drugstore makeup. Most of my higher end stuff are gifts from people.
Just wanted to share with you my go to eye shadow pallet. Its Pops Wallet Eye Shadow in "Day to Play". If you go to ULTA they have a section full of POPS makeup. I really enjoy their makeup and love how pigmented their colors are. I also have their Bronzer and Blush duo which is again my favorite blush and bronzer. If you look at the picture down below you are able to see how many different colors this comes with. It not only comes with a lot of neutral colors, but lots of fun vibrant colors as well and as you can see it comes with a total of 24 eye shadows! It's an older pallet and I couldn't find it on their website but I checked on amazon.com and this pallet is going for 32.00.

This might be a bit pricey for some but for the amount of eyeshadow colors you get and for how pigmented these colors are, it is totally worth every penny. The lightest color on the top right hand corner is the perfect highlighting color for right underneath your eyebrow area and also for the corners of your eyes. It also comes with a eyeshadow brush as well. They also have other Wallet Eyeshadows but this one here is the one that I have.

I hope you guys enjoyed today's blog and found it helpful. I don't usually hear a lot about POPS makeup but can honestly say I think they're really great. If your looking for a new pallet to try, I reccomend trying this one. It's an older pallet and I couldnt find it on their website but now that Amazon does sell it for $32.00.
I always keep a make up bag in my purse and I decided to show you guys what I keep in mine =] Sometimes it changes depending on the lipstick/lip gloss that I am wearing or the pallet that I choose to bring with me, but as of lately, this is usually whats in my makeup bag. I choose to go kind of on the lighter side because whatever I bring with me is just to touch up on my face, not to do my makeup.

Here's my makeup bag, I like the clear one so I can see all my things. I got this at Walmart at the traveling Section in the men's section. It came with things in it that I just took out and had for my dad who visited from N.Y.

So in here I keep some stuff for just my touch ups through out the day; first thing is my Sonia Kashuk traveling case. I got this as a gift and I saw on Amazon it went for about 20 dollars. You can also go to Eyeslipsface.com for a great alternative for a travel size make up brush kit. I think theirs is only about 5$.

Since the Sonia Kashuk travel brush kit doesn't come with a blush brush I bring my smallest one which is the bare Escentuals angled face brush. On amazon this brush is about 13$ but like I said before I believe the E.L.F travel kit comes with a face brush already.

My favorite blush at the moment is Pops cheecky cake in Beach Babe. I got this awhile ago but unfortunately I haven't been able to find it on amazon and I think they had it on eBay for about 11$ but am not sure of the definite price. A great alternative is E.L.F.'s blush bronzer duo, or NARs Blush/bronzer duo. I like the Duo for traveling to keep less things in my makeup bag.

My next product I use all over my face for a baked glow kind of look and I love this. Its Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights Dimension. It's an awesome use for the summer and I think on Amazon it was going for 28$. I know this can be pricey, I am all about affordable makeup because I am a stay home mom but this was a gift and I love it!

My favorite lip color at the moment is a nude lip stick from Wet N' Wild. I got this two or three months ago and am LOVING the nude color. As you know Wet N' Wild is extremely inexpensive. I think this was only two or three bucks.

I also am using this lip gloss that's nude and goes perfectly on top of this lip color. My husband was stationed in Korea when he was in the army so me and him lived there for three years and over that time period I collected a lot of makeup. Their stuff was amazing and wish I stocked up on a lot more. This is a nude Lip gloss from a store called MISSHA.

In this picture I have Some Lip Balms that I use when I am not in the mood for my lipstick and my eyeliner. The First Lip Balm is Blistex Fruit Smoothie, Smells delcious. Below that is Wet N' Wilds Natural Blend Lip Shimmer. My eyeliner is again from Korea, same store called MISSHA.

I also have a basic pallet from E.L.F. with a highlight color and a brown color that I use to touch up my makeup.

For those of you who are just starting out at makeup and are not sure in which direction to go to, what products to buy, or what to be doing, I always suggest E.L.F (eyes, lips, face). When I first started to really get into makeup, I would sit in front of a mirror and start applying makeup to my face, only to wash it off and try another look, or to mess up and start all over again. For me E.L.F. is a great way to start because of their low prices. They have all the necessary things for you to get started including brushes at such a bargain. Most of their products range from $1,$3,$5.

Go to their website and check them out because I know you will be a happy camper with their products. They're eye shadows are really pigmented, the Primers work wonders and they are cheap! I think the only products I personally do NOT like from them are there eyeliners, but that's pretty much it. My favorite pallet from them that I own is the Beauty Book Neutral Eye Edition. The colors are so similar to the Urban Decay Naked Pallet. I am in no way comparing the two because hands down Urban Decay is one of my favorite makeup brands and they are AMAZING, however if your on a budget or if your just starting out with makeup, I suggest this pallet for you to use. It comes with 12 different shadows, an eyeliner and a sponge applicator.
